Love this Family Owned Farm here at Ridge Haven and the friendship we have made. My Daughter (age 7)has been taking lessons for aprox 3 years now from RHF. Shannon is her Trainer , super sweet and wonderful to work with.

Family owned and operated! Excellent environment for kids and adults to enjoy their mutual love of horses! Wonderful care for the horses and unlimited ammenities including trails. Definitely worth a call if you’re interested in boarding or lessons!

My daughter has been taking lessons here for years now and we board our horse here. I've not heard of them letting people ride horses for free. I mean, they are running a business. I was told a few years ago that they occasionally will rent out their horses but I know that the number of people taking lessons has increased quite a bit since then and don't know if they still have that available. They have fantastic instructors. If they let people come in and ride for free, then they would not have the horses available for lessons. About half the horses at Ridge Haven are privately owned and so not available for lessons even. I'm not saying they never did it. We've only been going here 6 or 7 years and they've been open a long time. I'm just saying that it wouldn't make a good business model today.
