Very kid friendly park. So much to do at this place. Baseball field and three play areas. Abundance of lavatories. Plus nature trail rounds out to the Oakboro train museum (not really that big). It’s just a train station that was once operational.

Exactly where is a basketball court in oakboro Park? I've never seen it...just baseball and soccer.

Yes pretty much anywhere you can walk and they go back into the woods.
You can walk your dog there on a leash. There are dog waste disposal stations along the walking trail.
Stay on main street go past the railroad museum away from town and you can see the ball fields from the road it has a wrap around drive and alot of parking.
