UPDATE September 2022: I am sad to report that this wonderful restaurant is now permanently closed. So sad. Here is my previously posted review: My wife and I went here on a spur of the moment one afternoon and have become weekly patrons. Everything is fresh-fresh. Try the Shepherd's Salad! I am normally not a big fan of lamb but at Shishkebob it is fantastic and I usually order a dish with lamb. This is really good food and the prices absolutely cannot be beat. We like to have a glass or two of wine or beer with our dinner and even here Shishkebob manages to find extremely inexpensive but very drinkable beverages. We have gotten to know the owners and they are wonderful people. JH

I had an amazing time at Shishkebab! Our waiter, Andrew, was a delight! The ambiance is amazing, beautiful art and music. Definitely the best Gyro I've had in Augusta!
