Dr. Thaxton is a dying breed among doctors. I have known Dr. Thaxton for about 5o years and was cycled through a group of OB/GYN doctors, of which he was one, when they were on Harper St. I had another doctor at the time, but after he retired I looked up Dr. Thaxton, who was then in his own practice. I have NEVER regretted my choice. His office staff are always so kind and helpful. Dr. Thaxton is a caring, gentle person, who listens to all your questions, & I can ask a lot of them sometimes, with patience and good information. Never rushes you nor is he pushy, but lets you decide what you think is best for you, after he gives you his best professional opinion. I just wish I could find a primary physician just like him. Dr. Paul Thaxton's medical expertise speaks for itself. I came to Dr. Thaxton with a diagnosis of Osteoporosis. Within less than 2 years the bio-identical hormones improved my bone-density results to Osteopenia. Dr. Thaxton is a kind, personable doctor who listens to your concerns and responds with suggestions and/or changes for resolution.

He is a very personalized doctor, takes his time with each patient, and cares about making you feel better.
