A beautiful place to walk and enjoy the scenery. A good place to talk and walk with a friend.

10/10 peace of mind. I do wish they offered a climate controlled small place to cool off and catch your wi d in the summer.

Hi Elliott, Thanks for your interest in the Garden. We are not able to allow pets in the Garden. We're all dog people here, and it makes us sad but unfortunately that's how it goes. You're welcome to walk yours in our shady gravel parking lot if you are traveling and are hoping to visit. Thanks, Carolyn
Yes. Of Course. All trained and certified service animals under Title II and III of the ADA are welcome in the Garden. https://adata.org/service-animal-resource-hub/basics
Hi Becky, The Garden will be open M-F 9:30 AM through 7 PM this week, and Sunday from 1-4.
Please call the Garden directly at 912-478-1149 and someone will be able to answer all of your wedding questions :)
We're selling plants today until 4PM
The Garden is open Tu-Fr (9:30-6) & Sun (1-4), there is a suggested donation of $5 for entry.
Hi Jarrett, The University is carefully considering conditions, student staffing, and more. We're hoping we'll be given the go-ahead to open in the first part of August. In the meantime, follow us on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter @botanicgsu. We'll keep you updated there.
Hey Christian, Yes, you are and we have benches and tables on a first come first served basis. We're looking at the possibility of reopening in the beginning of August. We hope to see you when we do! Thanks!
Pollen is not too much of an issue, Dana, because we blow the pavilion and all pathways clean just before your event, so the surfaces would be pollen free. If someone suffers from allergies, that's a different story. Generally, early spring seems to be the time the pine pollen is the worst. Thanks for thinking of the Garden, and please let us know if we can provide further help. Hope to see you in the Garden soon!
I had a package for 125 people and it was $2500. It included ceremony and reception, chairs, tables, and a cottage to get ready in. I absolutely loved it.
Hello Kathy, Thanks for your interest in the Botanic Garden. While we do have 11 acres of gardens to explore, we do not have a camp site. George L. Smith State Park and Magnolia Springs State Park are within a 45 minute drive. Parkwood RV Park is just a few miles away from us here in Statesboro. Enjoy your travels!
Not to my knowledge, but there are several workers that are very helpful.
Hi Becky, Our spring plant sale is Saturday, April 21 9-3pm to Sunday, April 22 1-4PM. Hope to see you there! We're also having our Children's Festival on Sunday, April 22 from 1-4. C
