Absolutely fantastic business! I don't have one thing bad to say about this business. At 1:00pm Friday, 9/11/22, my wife and I were stranded off of I81 Exit 15, Morristown TN, 6 1/2 hours and 422 miles from our home in Northern VA. We had a Check Engine light blinking, needed a auto repair shop in an area we knew absolutely nothing about. At about 1:30pm we were referred to American & Import Auto Repair as the nearest shop who could repair our car. By 3:30pm we could not secure a tow truck and the shop closed at 5:00 and was over an hour from our location. Bottom line, not only did American & Import Auto Repair help us to secure a tow truck, they committed to keeping the shop open with a technician waiting. By the time we could get towed to the shop it was 6:00pm. They made a preliminary diagnosis that was spot on, got the parts (spark plugs and coils) to repair the car. Unfortunately the parts were defective but owner, shop manager and other technicians drove the area at 8:00pm to secure the proper parts. Success!! - By 9:45pm the car was repaired and we were back on the road. One more thing! The shop manager guided us back to I81 via the shortest route so we could get to a hotel. Best auto repair, customer service and human kindness I have ever experienced in my 71 years. THANK YOU to the American & Import family. From the owner, to the shop manager and technicians involved.
