Great place to bring your family. Nice places to take pictures and walking areas in the shade. Bathroom are clean. We will be coming back again to have a picnic. .

I wish there was a better way to launch the kayaks here but it has gotten a little better over the years. It does have nice trails.

Beautiful, clean place to visit. Fishing, walking trails, playground, history.

The state park does not offer kayak rentals but there are several local companies that offer one to two hour excursions on the Landsford Canal for individuals who have prior experience kayaking
No but there is a place not far from there you can kayak and camp on the river...very cool!
Not sure!! Sign says no vehicles beyond this point!! Need to inquire!!
SΓ, necesitas una licencia para pescar. NecesitarΓ‘ una licencia de pesca de Carolina del Sur.

Late winter to early spring, they don't spend a whole lot of time in the nest unless they're sitting, eggs
I have seen kayaks and canoes, but not tubes. Their website suggests tubing is not permitted. https://southcarolinaparks.com/landsford-canal/things-to-do
I know it closes at dark, i can't imagine that it opens at daylight..thats kind of early..but I do think it's open by 8. I'm going tomorrow..i can let you know I just checked... they open at daylight
There is another entrance but it is farther away from the lillies than the main entrance
There use to be camping on the Lancaster County side, about 5 years ago they blocked it off & fid renovation, not sure if u can or not; someone would have to go ck.
Yes, mid-May to mid-June is the peak. I believe there are still a few left to see through the middle of July.
I think it's like a 1 1/2 mile round trip. There are 3 trails total. Taking all the longest ways might total 3 miles.
They are all pretty much wide enough, I know on the opposite side from main, you get to by long dirt Rd. There's a wonderful path right by the water that would be perfect (Beautiful views!! Its wide & cleared... watch out for snakes!
There is WMA land that surrounds Landsford canal so yes you can around the park but not the park land itself.
