Is this park safe for running early in the morning (6:45 am) during the week?
Patricia Lozano Quintana | Oct 7, 2020
ThomasLee | Oct 7, 2020
Yes it is, I would advise coming to the park first to see the landscape as it may be more difficult (or complicated) running inside the park. You may find it better to run around it on the outskirts, also check the park website for events that are held there, as it may be totally or partially closed to the public. Sometimes even running or walking on the outskirts may not be allowed by the event holders.

There are multiple websites dedicated to the centennial Olympic park but, as far as I'm aware, none hold an interactive map of the park. I've heard of tours and "find your brick" scavenger hunts made in the park. My advices:
1. Go to a tour or a scavenger hunt, ask the guide for the location of brick 1 and in the best case scenario brick 89 should be 30 to 40 steps away.
2. Ask an Atlanta native the location of brick 1, or have him/her help you locate your brick.
3. Make a day out of it. Enjoy the park and find your brick by yourself. You can then go the CNN headquarter and eat in their lobby.
