Archadeck screened in our existing covered deck. Andy was extremely professional and communicated realistic timeframes during the estimation process. The crew showed up on time and did a wonderful job. Reliable partnerships are hard to come by and I would recommend Archadeck to anyone looking for a quality end result!

After ordering a table and chairs for our patio, we realized with “Famously Hot Columbia South Carolina Heat”, we would probably not get many opportunities to enjoy sitting outside. We started to think about how we could add shade. Having heard about Archadeck, their great reviews and after reviewing photos on their website, we decided to reach out. Their representative, Bess, contacted us and arranged an appointment. It goes a long way when the person that represents the company has nothing but great things to say about the company and the owners. She did not hedge her words and you could tell she was sincere. “We would be happy with the final product, and they would make sure of it.” She shared many concepts based on her experience. Ultimately, based on her input, we chose a different direction than we initially considered. She sent several beautiful renderings, and after a few tweaks, we placed the order. I have to admit, prior to installation, I had buyer’s remorse and was starting to question our decision. The day arrived and our pergola was installed. Wow! We were and are so impressed. The Pergola adds depth, character and shade to our house. It solves so many problems. Bess stayed in contact with us throughout the process and made sure that the project not only met but exceeded our expectations. We have spent more time on our patio in the last several months than we have spent in the last six years. Honestly, even if we didn’t enjoy all of our new family time, the Pergola has added value to our house – I would say, more than we spent. We were so happy, that one night I remember sitting on the patio with my family and texting Bess about how happy we were. I can’t recall the last time I have done that with any merchant. Thank you, Bess, and thank you Archadeck for delivering on what you promised and exceeding our expectations. We have received so many compliments!

Questions & Answers

Do you install composite deck boards? We have existing treated lumber but want to replace or cover with composite boards, approximately 3,000 square feet

Dinah Keeton | Oct 8, 2018
Marshall Reu | Oct 8, 2019

Yes, we install many kinds of composite deck boards. We are the only AZEK and Timbertech Gold installer in this area, and we are also a TrexPro installer. It is not uncommon for us to remove old wooden decking boards, make whatever repairs to the deck frame are necessary, and replace with composite boards. Contact us for a free consultation, including an estimate, by one of our design consultants at your home to explain the various considerations of replacing your decking boards.

What is the average cost for a sun room

Kenneth Hart | Oct 8, 2018
Marshall Reu | Oct 8, 2019

Size and the type and level of finish make this a difficult question to answer without looking at the project, but building a sun room from scratch, from new foundation to roofing, generally costs between $150-$175 per square foot. Contact us to come out for a free design consultation and we can give you a more exact estimate.
