I had saw this retreat on instagram and I couldn’t believe all the things this park provided! When we finally came it was during the stormy weather so one day we had to stay inside the cabin. The days that weren’t raining we planned on doing the scheduled agility course at 9am we went around 9:25 and no one was there and the trainer had only stayed 15 minutes and no one showed up but that doesn’t mean others won’t. She could’ve waited longer and I called the office and the trainer expected me to pay an extra $20 so she could help train my dog which is insane. I paid close to $400 and the training isn’t involved, the food is extra, everything here you have to pay for, so ultimately I’m paying around $500 when the only bright side is that they have a good park and pond area for the dogs as well as the cabin and the fenced area for the dog but honestly I don’t think it’s worth the money. The luring course was scheduled at 10 and again nobody was there and I called the office and they told me they changed the time at 2 because of the wet grass, this company isn’t organized at all. I’m paying a lot of money and they can’t give me a call to let me know they are changing the time? This was my first and last time coming here. I expected a lot from this place and it was not as near as what I expected sadly. Also I’ve stayed in many hotels, motels, and Airbnb and we never had to clean after ourselves just the small stuff. Here you have to wash your dishes and sweep the floor which is crazy because it’s suppose to be vacation, we shouldn’t worry about stuff like that but we did here. I’m not trying to shade the place but it should’ve felt more like a vacation/ good customer service. We did enjoy the different parks I just know this wasn’t my moneys worth unfortunately.

Just returned from a trip to Four Paws Kingdom Campground. Everything was perfect! The staff are all super friendly. The sites are level (which is so hard to find) and easy to access. And, most importantly, our dog had so much fun in the pond with all of the friends he made while camping there. We enjoyed it so much that we booked our return trip while we were staying there.

We haven't had any issues locally. None of the roads to the campground are affected at present. The campground drains very well so is also doing well.
No propane on site, but I'm sure if you ask the owners, they will direct you the best place
Prices are very reasonable for the great times...we are gonna be looking to come back soon Bosco made so many friends there.
As the other user said, we are not aware of any bike rental shops in the area nor if the Tryon Equestrian Center (hosting the WEG) is bike-friendly. At the campground, we will have a communication board for people that want to ride-share to the shuttle parking area. That will hopefully allow people to save on the parking costs.
I would call and speak to Sandy or Connie. Very nice people. They will be more than happy to answer any questions
No tent sites as of May 2018, but they do have yurts you can rent, plus cabins, trailers, and a tiny home.
