Their decisions are based off of nothing objective. They told me my account was due in seven days two days ago and they cut my power off today. I called offered to pay the full amount immediately when the power was cut off and they told me they would be $100 reconnect fee spoke with many people all very rude people who do not care about the customer. I have gave them over $500 in the past 30 days just gave them another 300 to make that 800 and they still said my bill is due in four days for $300. I’ll have gave them over 1000$ within 30 days and have the bank records to prove it. I’ve been a customer with them for over a year. I would highly recommend you stay away and listen to the reviews that you’re reading.

My family, friends and I have always been excited when we find out we're going to be living in an area that Laurens Electric services. We have had zero issues and not one outage, even through the recent winter weather. I have a neighbor that has been with the company for 50 years and he says he can only remember 3-4 outages over those 50 years. My bill does NOT seem any higher and it is comparable to my bills from Duke Energy in the past from previous addresses. I would, however, gladly pay more if it was required because outages with other companies seem to be way more frequent. Excellent service, excellent company. Thank you for working to keep our power coming!

I called your company to let you know my dad of 92 years had passed and that the auto draft might not go through since bank accounts were frozen. I received a bill with $20 charge for that. I called today and Leslie first told me there was nothing she could do to remove that charge. I pressed and she removed it but never said that she was sorry that a customer of over 62 years had passed. I did everything right in calling after he had passed and was assured that a bill would be coming.

You're correct, it would depend on adding more panels to the community solar array. However, we have a waiting list and notify the next in line when units become available.
Hi Gerald, You can call our primary line, 1-800-942-3141, and speak with a representative who can help you.
The outage affected thousands of our members across a large portion of our service area last night. Duke Energy's transmission facilities suffered equipment damage. Power was restored after approximately an hour and a half.
Hi Makenly, sorry for the delayed response here on Google. We had several outages overnight as a result of storms - most often trees and tree limbs on power lines - and crews worked through the night and into the morning hours restoring power.
We apologize for the inconvenience. Crews were dispatched immediately, located and corrected a blown fuse in the electronic recloser control panel, and restored power after approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes.
We provide services in South Carolina only.
As long as your name is on the account, you will still be able to attend. Our employees at the meeting will help you register and vote even if you do not have a registration card.

I would call them ans ask. It would be either them or duke.
It took four of us, but here's what we've come up with. We do have lines at the entrance and near the back of Tanners Mill. However, normal right of way maintenance involves trimming and only cutting trees that pose an imminent risk to the lines. One of our long-time crew supervisors said Tanners Mill backs up to the old Coca Cola and Samsung plants. Also, somewhere nearby a new development (possibly shopping and mixed use) is being planned. So, if the trees have been clear-cut and you've seen bulldozers, it's not us.
Because of the nature of storm-related outages, it's nearly impossible to estimate restoration time. Crews are battling the elements and more often than not, having to cut away fallen trees, untangle and re-string lines and repair damaged equipment. They will continue working non-stop until all power is restored.
