THIS PARTICULAR LOCATION IS NOT THE REASON FOR THIS RATING!!!! There was a lady that came to the door and did the best she could to help me and my family. The issue I have and the reason for this rating is for the one that up until recently has just dissolved! I did an intake about 3wks ago and the last thing I was told was that it should take about 2-3wks. I have still not been contacted from when I did an intake to get shelter. It’s now getting cold outside. We have children and we all need to get into a place so we can go to work (CLEAN!) and not stinking!!!! Never in my life have I seen things as bad as they are now when CHILDREN can be homeless and the agencies really don’t have the power to do too much, even in the cold weather! This is sad!!!! What’s worse is that many families are going through this same problem! My family and I were stable and we’re PUSHED OUT OF OUR HOME BECAUSE WE WERE “MAKING TOO MUCH INCOME!” BUT DUE TO STILL MAINTAINING A JOB WE HAVE RESOURCES TO PAY OUR RENT AS WE ALWAYS HAVE BUT BECAUSE OF SOME MADE UP NUMBERS NOW DICTATING THT WE HAVE TO HAVE 3x’s THE RENT WE HAVE NOW FOUND OURSELVES IN WHAT I CALL THE GREY AREA! This is crazy and whoever is making up these rules and creating these homeless situations needs to really stop! “THEY” (whoever they are) SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THEMSELVES!

Yes, our mission serves families with children. Both the parent(s) and children stay together while in our program and are provided with safe, no-cost shelter, food, and guidance to get back on their feet.
