If I could give a quarter of a quarter of a star i most definately would do so. Discrimatory towards potential and current employees and volunteers of color. They terminated based of word of other employees without doing proper investigation. Their non discrimination policy is Bull and they don't uphold it. Won't donate be donating to or volunteering for their cause ever again.

Great place for volunteering and helping those in need with the use of highly skilled dogs.

The founder, Jennifer, is so passionate and welcoming. She cares very deeply for the service dogs and treats them just like family. The staff is caring and friendly. The facility is clean and a very homely environment for the animals. I enjoyed my visit and cant wait to go back. Thank you for all you do for the community and those in need.

Service dogs typically help individuals how have disabilities rather than visiting hospitals or other facilities. What you are probably looking for is some type of Therapy Dog. Generally, the place to start would be with the hospital. Some hospitals do not allow even Therapy Dogs into cancer wards due to compromised immune systems of those w cancer and concerns for disease transmissions.

I have an MD's letter stating that my Westie is a service dog for my my medical diagnosis of "insomnia." Do you train and certify for such? If so, what is the procedure? How long does it take? What does it consist of, and what is the cost?

At this time we do not have the resources to train personal dogs as service dogs. If you will call the office during business hours, we can give you the names of some resources who do provide this type of service.

How can I qualify?
