Absolutely beautiful church! I have not been to a service here, but this is our favorite spot in Spartanburg to take family pictures. The grounds are immaculately clean and incredibly beautiful.

It can be intimidating to come to a large church, but even at its size 1st Presbyterian has the feel of a neighborhood/family church. There is a lot of excitement and momentum here! The congregation is not content with being the Church only within this building’s walls. They are actively involved in mission and life in the entire community of Spartanburg. It is a joy to serve and be called to this congregation. Come join us for worship, a meal, small group, youth group, and more!

We've been members for approximately 19 years now. I would call it a family church as generations of the same family usually attend. It is active from many aspects to include the youth with a new youth minister recently hired. The same for our new Head Pastor, we expect great things for him. Many social and outreach programs. For our time here no plans to move elsewhere.
