Very diverse & welcoming church! Focuses on teachings from the Bible in an applicable way.

I’m going to sound harsh, but this needs to be said. Everything you want to know about their church leadership can be found on their Instagram accounts, and by the blue check marks they’re following (pro choice, far left leaning politicians). They’re more about their personal “brand” than the message of Jesus. The worship leader is extremely hateful and has a lot to say about how Christians should be (when he’s a supporter of anti Christian politicians such as AOC). He seems narcissistic, and I’m curious why he has such an important role in the ministry aside from being their child. The same can be said about the other leaders, though. They’re all about the “vibes” and “aesthetics” and how they look on stage. They remind me of the churches of Thyatira and Pergamon with their moral compromise. I went to this church for a bit, but there was something I couldn’t shake about them. Until I visited their Instagrams. Telling and disappointing, though it finally made sense.

My family has grown significantly since being part of IF for the last 3 years. Multi-generational and multi-ethnic church life is not easily done but the people of this community have remained committed to loving Jesus and loving each other while embracing our cultural differences. It is quite a beautiful thing to be part of.

Questions & Answers

How many people attend your church and do you have a ministry for 4 and 5 year olds? Does your pastor give an invitation for people to accept Jesus as their savior?

Brytni Soto | Mar 11, 2022
In Focus Church | Mar 11, 2022

Hi, Brytni! Each week me might have from 400 to 600 people serving, attending and worshipping across our campus. Your 4 and 5 year olds would have a wonderful time learning about Jesus on Sunday mornings with our KidFocus Ministry and Wednesday Nights at Kids Club! Check out what's going on at www.infocus.church/events and follow along with KidFocus ministry at https://www.instagram.com/kidfocuskids/ Yes, we invite a response to the Gospel during our service each week where our prayer teams will receive you and pray with you. We have a link on our webpage where you can contact us. Looking forward to hearing from you.

I signed up. Why is this so difficult?

In Focus usually has one Sunday night service per month, the third Sunday at 6:15pm. This is a corporate prayer and worship service, with Communion. Check the Events page at infocuschurch.org for details.

Answer I just went to fellowship at this church and it was about my 3rd time there. This particular Sunday I brought my tambourine to worship and praise God. While in the service I was asked by the associate pastor to worship without it. 😱 Really!!!

So glad you came a 3rd time to In Focus! Next time you attend, help a sound engineer out and leave your musical instrument in your car. Very distracting for me to achieve the worship mix we are looking for if I'm searching "Where is that tambourine coming from?" And have no control over its volume or presence in the room. You may be the best tambourine player in the country, and if so...we welcome you to the open auditions for the worship team when that time is announced. Not an official In Focus response, but hoping you understand my point of view. :)
