Nice spot to let the dogs run! We enjoyed visiting here in April 2022. Lots of doggies for our 6 month old pup to play with. Great location, and the park itself is awesome as well.

Nice people park (basketball courts, soccer fields, baseball fields, sand volleyball, horseshoes, etc.) and two fenced dog areas (one for small/old dogs and one for big dogs). Bring your own water for your pups, the drinking fountain was off when we were there. Will definitely stop by here again!

I really enjoyed this park. I was traveling through the state and a girl at Octopus coffee shop recommended this place to me. I have a dog so i needed a place to let her get out of the car and run around. This park has a designated dog area and within it is a swimming hole. The dogs were having a great time. I took my dog around the park. Its pretty big. There are a lot of benches in the shade. A great deal of grass to run on and public bathrooms that were clean. There were also more ponds within the park. It was very beautiful. I really enjoyed this park and I know my pup did too.

I like that there is a separate area for smaller and senior dogs who don't like playing with the big dogs. There is a double gated entry that helps contain your pet as you prepare to leave. This is a public space, so please be responsible and clean up after your animal.

Explain the situation..usually in grand junction dog parks your dog will get bullied out of the park because people don't pay attention to the signs or just don't care and baby their dog.
The dog park portion is fenced. There is an area for small dogs and another area for large dogs. The pond doesn't smell good but our son let's them play there and then takes them across the road to a smaller lake area. There is a huge walking trail though. Go check it out.
