Okay, I've heard about Hornet's Nest, and driven by numerous times. But in my 67 years have never eaten here. Friendly and courteous staff greeted us as soon as we came. We had loaded potato skins for an appetizer and they were very good. Covered with lots of melted cheese and bacon. We had ours without the onions and peppers that come with these too. We had chicken alfredo, with breaded chicken and "Nest" favorite beef Manhattan. Both were delicious. See the photos. This will be a favorite stop for us from now on. Get out and try something new.

The Honey Buffalo Chicken and biscuits were amazing. The hashbrown casserole was Devine. I've never had anything eating out that tastes so close to how we cook at home lots of pepper and garlic. The staff was super nice and we never had to wait for refills.

Normally I don’t give reviews on public platform, but I thought I could be of some service and forewarn others. Just to preface, the service was excellent! I crossed out the server’s name in the attached photo as this review is not based on their behalf. TLDR If you want to spend $70 on one meal for a cold, unseasoned 14 oz steak, this is the place to go! I’d also like to add that this was my first time at the Hornet’s Nest, and will most likely be my last time. My sister and boyfriend tagged along with me as I was in the mood for steak, and when we walked in we were greeted with a sign that ordered us to seat ourselves. It didn’t take long for the server to greet us and hand out the menus. We ordered the pulled pork fries (without blue cheese crumbles) as an appetizer and searched the rest of the menu for a good steak. We were then given our drinks: tea, lemonade, Dr. Pepper. My boyfriend approved of the tea (he orders tea anywhere we go), the lemonade was as expected, and my sister thought the Dr. Pepper was flat and syrup-y (she also orders Dr. Pepper anywhere we go). My boyfriend and I like to share our food so we decided on the 14 oz Ribeye with mashed potatoes and gravy and a loaded baked potato. My sister ordered chicken tenders, fries, and wild rice. Though, we noticed the prices alongside the menu items were blacked out, which when asked about the server explained that the prices were changed. Again, the service was great and the food came out quickly. The steak was cold and unseasoned and the mashed potatoes were school quality at best. The baked potato was dry and tasteless and my sister’s only complaint was that she didn’t like her rice. We ordered the steak as medium rare, but in some parts it was medium, but I’m aware that happens with steaks. Once we were given the bill we were surprised to see that the rib-eye cost $43! When it was marked out on the menu it was about $33, usually price changes don’t jump $10 so it was unexpected. If you want a 14 oz Ribeye that costs $43, this is the place to go! $70 spent on ONE meal! If I could give 0 stars I would. Let’s just say, don’t go here for the steak.

It's been rough but I think Hornets Nest is back on top! Had Amazing food and delightful staff. Had some pulled pork fries and a buffalo chicken sandwich. Left so stuff had to unbutton a notch. Absolutely best food I've had in a while!
