They are working on the greens, but a great place for a starter.

3 stars only because the staff is great and you can tell they're trying. Would be 4 starts but condition of course currently and the homeowners/members. 1. The greens don't exist right now. The staff was great in letting you know that up front. All 18 greens are shutdown. Perfectly fine as long as you know that going in. 2. The fairways they are still maintaining, Good job there. However, the rough, cart path and everything else is gone as well. Look at the picture of my foot in the golf cart. That's the weeds in the "rough" that are that high literally in my golf cart. 3. I've only played here 4 times now and everytime, not once, not twice but everything I've encountered either a member or a homeowner shouting at me over something. They act like it's a private PGA course when at best, even at it's greatest condition, will only be a great municipal course. The other 3 times it was "don't play from that ground under repair area" (nothing roped off?), and "when your shot is coming towards me (house next to fairway that landed 40 yards short of him in his backyard) you're supposed to yell fore you moron". This time, look at the picture of the golf cart near the tee box. There is no pavement so I parked it here while I went to tee off. I got "Hey bud..get your a$% off the tee box with that cart" I'm telling you, the staff is great but the players don't want you there. I'm trying to send pictures to show both good and bad. The greens, pick your ball up and move on. The fairways, really not too bad. Rough/weeds...you've lost your ball. Members, wear earbuds and listen to your music while they shout profanities at you.

Course is looking better. I heard course is under new ownership so that may be why I have been seeing some improvements. The layout is fun. The course could be great in the right hands. If you play the course greens need some work. I think patients is needed. New improvements will probably appear.

Yes, as of January 1,2022. They are working hard daily to get the course into top shape. But it is going to take time, especially to get the greens in top shape.

What happened guys? Used to be the best layer out course around. I'm 63 yrs old, and have played this course sence my early 20s, played in league's and with my dad. I miss this course . Please fix it or sell it. Why??? .

Most mellinials wont pick up a fallen tree on their driveway, much less a club with a challenge. Lack of play and owners uninterested kids will eventually turn this into more housing or apts. Social media and gyms, the new perverse age!

Why is golf course shut down
