My boyfriend I love southpointe! This is our first apartment and and everything about living here has been so easy. Maintenance requests are solved quickly and I felt super comfortable with the worker being in my apartment. They explain what’s wrong and are super polite. They are sure to keep your space clean as they work. The staff has been great and we have really enjoyed ourselves. There is ample parking for all, neighbors aren’t loud, and I’d recommend it for everybody. The washer/dryer in unit is a total plus!

Where do I even start. This is going to be a long review. -Besides the fact that the apartment was not "renovated" as described by management, on move in the dishwasher hose wasn't properly attached, causing a leak and my entire apartment to smell like mildew. It took 2 days of fans and maintenance removing the linoleum under the sink to fix. -Management was misleading about what renovations my apartment would be receiving to explain the large increase in rent from the amount we originally discussed. Countertop was not renovated (as promised) and appliances were at least 30 years old. Sent an email and received no follow up. -Put a maintenance request in online if you choose to live here. Do not call the office. Called 4 times about fixing my mailbox which was unusable for 2 weeks before someone fixed it. This also occurred with other maintenance requests over the phone. They seem to get "lost" a lot. -Called to complain about neighbors smoking inside. I was informed there is not a policy about not smoking indoors, which made my entire apartment smell like cigarettes. -Waited a month and a half for my deposit check to come in. I understand legally they have 30 days but was told it was "lost in the mail" because they had mailed it without having my forwarding address (this does not make sense). Waited another week and called again before they actually sent the check to the correct address. -Upon move in I sent a deposit check with the incorrect amount by mistake. Instead of allowing for a new check to cover the difference or to issue a new one, I was given a $25 penalty fee immediately. I was also penalized for my renter's insurance being expired AFTER I moved out. It was effective until day after move out but for some reason I received a penalty fee for it being expired several days after move out. There are several other issues I have had with these apartments which are frankly too many to put in one review. Overall, it was not a pleasant experience. I have not had experiences like this in previous apartments. I will not be recommending this apartment complex moving forward. I'm giving this two stars because I did like the apartment itself and the space. The staff were nice, but overall not helpful with initiating maintenance issues or addressing issues with fees/the apartment itself. Tl;dr: I feel this place is unorganized and misleading which leads to several "surprise" fees and is not worth the price in my opinion.

I’ve had a great experience living here! I lived on the third floor and kept my A/C at 78 in the summer because I’m Mr. Krabs and like to save money and my Ameren was around ~$40, winter is way more but Ameren does upcharge during the winter when compared to the summer, but nothing unreasonable! Everything was renovated and new when I first moved in, very nice apartment for my first year in grad school. The staff are great every time I had to interact with them, super friendly and funny! the maintenance guys are fantastic at their job, and very helpful! I have not had an issue living here and if I could stay, I would. If you’re looking for clean, nice apartment for a great price (that also includes washer and dryer which is a bonus!) rent here! The utilities you have to pay are exactly what Kelsey told me when I looked at these apartments, expect to pay around 40 each month, very reasonable. Great location too!! You guys are great, keep it up! 😃

The office staff are awesome and great at explaining contracts and available options for leasing. The apartments cost are comparable to other near by apartment complexes​. The unit I'm staying in is a one bedroom, included is a washer and dryer inside the unit. It's an all electrical unit so the furnace opperates on electric. The maintenance department did an excellent job with insuring the apartment was move in ready. Everything is functional and submitted work orders normally have a pretty quick response time. Overall it's a great place to live and in a good location.
