A treasure in the heart of Matthews--our home away from home while we lived in the area. The friendly staff, welcoming atmosphere and hundreds of Christian books to inform and inspire kept us coming back. When we moved to England, we realized all the more what a gift the library and staff were to the community--Christian books are extremely hard to find here.

Great library. I felt like I was in NYC. Plenty of computers too. SD got it right!! Only negative was bathrooms were FILTHY!! So I removed a star for that :(

Yes. They take donations and will give you a receipt. If they can't use them because of condition, duplications, etc., the books will be donated to other, smaller libraries or mission projects. Thank you.
Yes, if you plan to check things out. However, you are free to come and enjoy the ambiance of this beautiful library, peruse the books and many other items, buy some books from book sales, etc.. Good selection of books for all ages. DVDs also.
