Came for an inspection and an oil change. They told me about two hours, and about 2.5 hours later, they called with 'recommendations', but the inspection still wasn't completed. I agreed to the filer change and waited another hour before they told me that my car failed due to the tints. I wasn't aware of the new law and they saw my windows before then. When I asked where I could go to for the tint removal, they offered no help and just told me to bring it back within 30 days. I found a place that did it and they told me that only my side windows were in violation, so they stripped them. 5 hours after this whole ordeal started, I brought my car back to them. Once again, they said it failed because I did not get all of the tint removed. When I asked them for clarification, they were extremely rude. They wouldn't even show me what the issue was. The only 'tint' left was the strip on the top front windshield. I only found this out after going to firestone, who said that the strip was legal. I also researched the law and it is legal to have the strip. Needless to say, both firestone and the place that removed my tints said that this place has a bad reputation. Never bringing my car here again. This was my first experience with a mechanic since moving to New York and it was awful. Stay away and go to firestone.

Not good trying to support my local business STS but I go by there for an inspection . Mind you there was only one car in the back and all the bays are empty so I say my truck is pretty new shouldn’t take long at all. The lady tells me you have to drop it off and it takes an hour. I m like forget that sounds pretty weird that they want me to leave it there. And I go down on Montauk hwy . Exxon took them not even 20 min and I sat there. Sad people just trying rip people off
