I highly recommend old 27 veterinary clinic, I brought my big German shepherd/Doberman mix in to be neutered. The girls took great care of him and even had to help carry him to my car. Bear ended up being very sensitive to anesthesia and when I voiced my concerns about my dog being very sleepy hours after the surgery they were very reassuring and extremely helpful. They even texted me later in the evening to check on Bear and make sure he was doing alright which I really appreciated. They went above and beyond by even giving me a call the next morning to make sure he fully came out of the anesthesia. I appreciate all of you and I am very glad I found Old-27 for all of my dogs. Thank you Amber, Rachael and all of the employees that took great care of my Baby Bear ❤️

They need to train their secretary Rachel in both manners and knowledge. When I called a couple of weeks ago, i was quoted a price for a service. Considering that the price was so much higher than what I pay for the same service at a downstate vet on one of my dogs that resides downstate, I thought perhaps that for this service maybe a office call fee wasn't charged. She had no idea and requested that I call back another day. I called several vets and got prices, keeping a written log sheet of prices and locations. When I called back to see about getting an appointment the price had gone up. I read my quote and she denied giving me that price. She was very rude about the whole situation, reminding me that I had stated that for those higher prices that I would probably just use my downstate Vet. She was all too happy to refer me use another Vet. So much for trying to keep some money flowing to my hometown as my parents taught us the value of shopping locally. FYI: Pet in question was an existing patient. In the end, there were no appointment available regardless of price. But once again, Rachel seemed a bit to gleeful in not being able to get me an appointment. With this attitude, do you think I'll be using this Vet when we move back to town? Getting past the price issue and the lack of available appointments, its the attitude of the secretary that has prompted this review.

This vet is an hour away and she's still the only vet we take our pets to. She never charges more than necessary, and never makes up anything that's wrong with your pet to guilt you into more services. She's good to and with the animals and she's honest. Definitely worth the drive.
