River Pines is a gem of a place. Between the 18-hole regulation course, 9-hole Par 3 course, driving range, chipping and putting greens, and fantastic teaching and support staff, everything a golfer - aspiring or seasoned vet - needs can be found here. On the teaching side of things, I've taken a number of lessons from Phil Wagoner, and he has helped me tremendously. His teaching style is low-key and on point, and seeing instant improvement, based upon his feedback and accompanying drills is so satisfying. It doesn't mean the drills immediately "stick," but I know if I continue to practice, the desired changes will come. If you've never visited River Pines, do yourself a favor and get over there.

Great little Par 3 course! I paid $15 on a weekday morning. Folks need to fix their divots more, but in general the course was in great condition. First come first serve. I finished my round in about 1 hour and 15 minutes. Nice water feature and some bunkering as well, along with some knobs and swales that definitely add some challenge if you miss the green. Will definitely play again.
