We drove about an hour from our cottage to try something new, and wow, what a pleasant surprise. The atmosphere, service, and food were fantastic. Our picky 9-year-old son even tried and loved the mussel appetizer! Bunnie, our server, was top notch. We will make the drive many times now as the restaurant selection near us is limited.

Awesome restaurant overlooking Douglas lake. It's super awesome place for fresh seafood. Their steaks are also just amazing. Make sure you call in advance and get a reservation or you will likely not get in.

The food here was unbelievable. I walked in and found out I needed reservations. The hostess said we could eat at the bar. I much rather eat at the bar anyway. So much more interactive with everyone

Lovely venue for a great dinner. The food was delicious and the atmosphere is very nice. I had the perch which was delicious and highly recommended. I would have given them 5* but the service was a little off - our waitress forgot to bring a glass of wine someone ordered, and also forgot my water. It wasn’t very busy when we were. The waitress was friendly.

Unfortunately at this time the DLB will not be able to accommodate any group events of this type on the porch or patio.
