Very nice state park! Nice little beach near restroom with flush toilets. Playground for kids with picnic tables, benches, and grills.

I loved this location for camping being right along the Lake Superior beach and having direct access. The views from the lake where gorgeous! You can see across the lake from the shore. We had gone mid to late June and It was a bit too cold that weekend to swim unfortunately. We had rain here and there but the fog while honking up high was very ominous and pretty. The camp site was very clean and had ample showers and bathrooms depending on which bathroom you go to some had different layouts. The campsite is and open fields divided by a grid of streets. Very much a heavy RV-in campground about 95% of the sites where RVs over tents that weekend. The bathrooms all say not to flush anything other than 𧻠or then they have to shut them down and since they shut down 2 of the 3 bathrooms we thought someone had flushed something but actually they just had a power outage so none of the RVs had power either. They left the bathroom with one shower open so there was always a line and girls had to use their phones for any light while in the shower. The bathrooms also clogged more often. I just wasnβt sure why the power being out made it okay to leave one bathroom open with no lights but the others had to be closed. This made the weekend a bit less fun with the bathroom situation. They did bring out porter potties which did help. The only other thought to keep in mind is that being so close to Canada, many of our phones sent us a text saying βwelcome to Canadaβ so keep that in mind not to get unnecessary charges.

It is packed, quite, nature all around. Loons, sea gulls and Ravens. It is very relaxing prefect trip. Bathrooms are clean, staff is warm, camp sites are clean. I will be back for the night sky.

Has a small beach and marked swimming area. Great views of lake superior. There is a campground made up of mostly campers. To the left of the beach area is a boat launch Looks like a nice place for a vacation.

The beach is easy to get to but not handicapped accessible
Only electricity but I did see a drive through water station not sure about sewage nice place
No but not needed anymore they allow on beach as long not where swim area is marked off with buoys it is a new ruling this year at all the parks from what we understand
Correct just the DNR Passport they call it either on you plates or they will sell you one at the gate it will allow you in all DNR Parks in the state
No doesnt quite have any cement path to the beach.
Yes trails not far and even a few trails that you can get too from the campground
yes
You can't camp in a state park for more than 14 days at a time
They are open for winter camping, but no amenities. No restrooms or showers, so if you are self contained, go for it.
Yes events can be held at the park. A large enclosed picnic shelter can be rented per day to make this venue perfect for special occasions.
Not the best, it's mostly sand. Even deeper out into the water. You are a short drive away from a number of awesome rock collecting sites.
They are not required, but the campground is very busy, so I do recommend reservations
It is open now but water isn't turn on until June
Was 26 last year, don't think it went up
Yes we are. The Host July and August and we have gotten a ton of things returned even Cellphone and once people left without there bikes which when they came back we had held for them
Roughly $28 a day, no discounts for longer stays.
Yes, they allow dogs. They have to be leashed. I haven't seen ducks but lots of seagulls
Looks like you got your answer yes there are showers and the bldg is kept clean
The campground is on a large bay that is part of Lake Superior. Can't get any bigger than that.
