Big Snow is really cool. A fun and novel concept, and probably a great place to learn to ski or snowboard, as it’s way less intimidating than a ski resort. Prices are very reasonable with the novelty factor at play. Staff is very helpful and kind. Accept that the run will be short, and you’ll have a good time.

Really great place to practice your skills, learn, or just have a snowy good time. The snow is powdery and nice, not icy. It’s enough of an incline to be fun for advanced people, and for complete beginners the bunny slope area is perfect - there’s even a mini “trail” so you can practice turning. The line on peak times can get a bit long but it moves quickly so you still get plenty of runs in even if it’s busy. Lockers are complimentary with your slope ticket which is so convenient and the place is clean and well staffed.

You can buy a 6 pack slope access pass (if you have your own gear) and show up whenever yo use it without making reservations. If you need outerwear and gear you can purchase a 3 pack snow day package. Same rules with show up whenever and no reservations.
The clock starts only after they scan your "wristband", which is when you enter the actual snow area.
With the 6 pack, you can go anytime even if tickets are sold out for the day. It’s a wonderful perk of purchasing the 6 pack!
Good for all skill sets 👍. Just gets repetitive after a couple runs since the slope is only a couple 100 feet but good enough to get the urge out on the off season since it's open all year round. P.s. they are closed due to a fire in September, will be back up in mid February.
No tubing at big snow but there is snow tubing at Mountain Creek ski resort a bit further north
you can buy 2hours + 2hours, or you can buy "slope access 6-pack" ($99) which is 6x 2 hours any time, potentially giving you unlimited full day access (if you want to REALLY stay on the slope for 12 hours straight 😅 #butWhy )

No, riders do not have to rent equipment. U can pay just for slope access (day pass or if you think you are going to go back for multiple visits you can buy a six pack slope access at a discounted rate).

I believe it's free when u purchase a ticket to the amusement park or the skiing if not it's usual American dream parking rates $3 up to 3 hours and $6 up to 8 hours unless there is a event at metlife stadium then it's $30 But AGAIN buying a ticket for amusement park or skiing will get u free parking
