If I could give 0 stars I would. Ordered a washer/dryer that was delivered Sept. 17. The washer was dented, but the delivery personnel took pictures and assured me that someone from their warehouse would reach out about sending the replacement. No one ever called and when I followed up several days later, I was told nothing could be done because of some asinine 48 hour rule. LOWES and these delivery people have been giving me the run around for weeks. I'm about to lodge a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Judging from these other comments, this is typical of them. DO NOT BUY APPLIANCES FROM LOWES. Save yourself the absolute nightmare headache.

Very rude on the phone and did not even wanna try to hear me out and try to help just kept repeating the policy .. whoever came up with 48hr refund on appliance should be fired . Now I'm stuck with 2 dryers seems like lowes loves there policys more than there customers .

If I could leave 0 stars I would . Bought a new dryer because old dryer wasn't heating , come to found out replaced my outlet and boom heat, wanted to return the new one and got rejected due to 48 hr policy can't believe they're willing to lose a customer for life over a 7 day period congrats lowes you preach loyal to our customer our customer mean the most but when it because customer against policy I guess you choose policy . Went all the way up the chain of command to cooperate and was just told unfortunately can't do that . So now I'm stuck with 2 dryers .... anyone wanna buy a new dryer 🙃. #dontshoplowes

Let me begin by saying this review has nothing to do with my local store or it’s employees, Lenoir, NC, without their help I’d truly be out the cost of a refrigerator. I purchased a refrigerator in mid-July of which there was stock in the distribution center as well as the store. They couldn’t deliver it the next day so it was scheduled for July 29. The third party delivery people made the delivery and the refrigerator was severely damaged. I was told Lowe’s would be in touch with me about a replacement. On Friday afternoon, I received a voicemail stating quantities were low but they would let me know (tomorrow), which would have been Saturday, of the replacement status. When I hadn’t heard from anyone Saturday, Sunday or Monday on Tuesday, I called the number and option #, the voicemail had left for questions or concerns. After holding for over 30 minutes, I spoke with a gentleman who verified my order number but stated there were no notes in the file. I informed him the information I had received on Friday and ask when my replacement would be made. His reply, I don’t know, we don’t have any in stock and he couldn’t tell me when stock would be in, nor could he tell me if they were any at another store or distribution center. Flustered, I asked to speak with his manager, who was rude and unprofessional in my opinion. He told me it wasn’t his job to try to find me a replacement by checking other distribution centers or stores. I’d need to go back to the store for help. The local employee called the distribution center and tried to get information for me. First, she was told a return/pick up could not be made because it had exceeded their 48 hour return policy and they couldn’t pick it up for a refund. She read them my voicemail and was told a replacement might be in August 30th but no guarantee. Also beware, a refund will not be issued until the distribution center receives it back from the third party delivery/pick up company, everything verified and a refund could take 15 or more days. Thankfully local Lowes employees cares about their customers, with the help of their staff, not the distribution center’s or their third party, the damaged refrigerator is scheduled to be picked up this Friday, they will refund the next day and hopefully the refrigerator I chose will be purchased and scheduled for delivered, sometime next week. (Local stores are no longer able to make deliveries.). I’ll be dealing with the distribution center and their third party delivery staff, again, hopefully, I don’t have to deal with these problems again. The gentlemen with the third party delivery company were nice and professional however, they left at least 4 bolts in the road and packaging materials beside the road. Hopefully, the 4 bolts that I picked up in the roadway were all that were left and none of my neighbors picked them up in their tires as they didn’t pull into my driveway but stayed on the roadway: Beware of things that aren’t under your local stores control.
