Great bar, great front desk staff, very safe, great location. Great valet folks--huge hustle by everyone! No room service. Absolutely no coffee on a holiday (July 4) unless you walk a block away to Roosters. Housekeeping might consider using a checklist when they close up a room and call it ready. We checked in to Room 1518 on Saturday July 2. The automatic dispenser in the shower was empty, the clock was unplugged and the carpet between the beds was sticky like someone spilled a soda. Also there was no backup roll of toilet paper. I would think a hotel supervisor would check a room or a housekeeper would use a checklist. Very easy to fix. For this reason and the lack of coffee/room service we won't stay here again.

Very pretty. Updated. And the most social lobby / bar I have ever been to. Very loud. But did not transfer to other areas of the hotel. Rooms were very nice and comforting while gone for work weekly. No water in room like most Marriott’s so that was different. Enjoyed the staff - one guy both nights with an overflowing bar area. Great job guys!

Very nice hotel, room was set up nicely. I've stayed in a lot of hotels across the country, Marriott has become on of my favorites. Staff that I interacted with were very polite and helpful. The only reason I don't give a 5 star is because of the elevator set up. There a 2 sides split amongst the floors. My set of elevators only one worked so it took a while to wait for our turn. Gym facility was really nice with great machines. The best part of my stay was the bed. By far the best bed I've slept on while at a hotel. If I could have I'd of taken it home with me. Definitely would stay here again next time I'm in St. Louis.

The hotel is pretty but the fees are crazy. They forced guests to pay for valet, told us it was too full for self parking. When we arrived, we were told we would get free breakfast and then was charged $20 per person for the buffet with very rude staff. The security fee was expected but do not recommend for all the extra fees. I’m not usually someone who complains but for one night, we ended up spending so much more than expected.

Not for sure but the do have a van you can call and ask but you can catch the metro link to the convention center and walk down the street
