Absolutely terrible. Do not come here. I have been waiting to see the doctor for 8 hours and counting in the emergency room lobby. No food or drinks provided. Just told to wait. Absolutely terrible.

Horrible employees the place was disgusting and the security was even worse.. Waited 3hr to get my 3mo who had a fever of 103° F checked out in triage. Not to mention the food, empty bottles, medical equipment, pillows, and sheets in the waiting area

Worst experience ever, lack of professionalism and absolutely filthy!! Bad enough years ago when the ER forgot about me when I was having a cardiac event and just a few days later admitted to another hospital in the Leigh Valley area.. this time possible internal bleeding after a procedure, not a care in the world here! The nurses and everybody at Geisinger so unprofessional and downright don't care about a darn thing. Take the trip out of the area for care

My 87 year old mother came to the ER by ambulance. The Dr saw her right away and ordered tests. It took forever to hear what the test results were. Then when they decided to admit her for observation she laid on the ER stretcher for over 12 hours no one came in to check on her unless I rang the call bell. I'm glad I stayed with her. I tried to make her as comfortable as I could. Maybe they need more staff or the nurses need smaller pt ratios. I'm hoping Danville is not this bad

Contact the nurse liaison.
The are looking for people including doctors and nurses all the time. They are having a hard time filling the positions fast enough. Not only that but most of the time all the beds are full so patients they have to admit have to wait on a room. So that keeps a lot beds in the ER occupied. This is why some people are waiting in the waiting room after they are triaged. If it’s not life threatening then you’ll most likely be waiting, but they still run tests while your waiting. The same goes for specialist appointments. They can’t hire doctors or surgeons fast enough to accommodate the high patient volume.
There are several conference rooms scattered across GWV. If you are an employee, please speak to your direct line supervisor. If you are not, contact Guest Services for further information.
During normal business hours, you will use the West campus entrance. Someone from Guest Services can direct you from there. After hours, you will use the Emergency Entrance. (Currently during construction, the west entrance is located at the Valley Medical Building)
Use your MyGeisinger App to schedule or call the scheduling hotline and they can give you more information. Check out geisinger.org for updates and information.

I'm not sure, I never been in the cafeteria before
I'm not really sure, the best thing to do is give them a call
It really depends on the building on the campus you are in. The 4th floor of the main hospital houses the Mother and Baby, Janet Weis Pediatric, and Medical-Surgical 4 units. In the Critical Care Building, the Medical-Surgical Intensive Care Unit is located on the 4th floor. I you need further assistance, call the operator.
I believe it is until 8 or 9 pm

Heinz Wilkes-Barre Rehab Center and Commonwealth Health First Hospital. These are the ones I found that are good. Though a Doctor could refer you as which is best according to the needs of the person who needs the service.
You have to call your provider directly to do this... The Google Maps questions are sent out to people in the area who are familiar with a place and can (hopefully) answer general questions about it - like where to get a sandwich nearby, or how clean the shuttle is, etc. The questions posted here don't go directly to the business, and so you don't usually get "official" responses. But if you call the switchboard number on the listing, they'll get you to the right place to confirm your appointment. I hope all goes well!
Take the elevators in the critical care building to the 5th floor and go passed the waiting room and through the double doors and ask the nurses at the station to direct you
They're fully accessible, and they're a full hospital. It's hard to answer your question without knowing what physical or mental challenges you or your loved one faces, but they do provide medical care in as accessible a manner as possible.
Kathy is absolutely right. You may need a driver after having (for example) steroid injections in your back or a joint. You definitely will need a driver if you require general anesthesia for any reason. The only way to be sure in your specific case is to ask the office where you're getting the injection(s). It's also a good idea to get your aftercare instructions in advance, so that you can plan appropriately.
LCTA goes by there
