The wait time in the er is incredibly ridiculous . My 93 yr old mother was in such pain and couldn't sit much longer ( over an hr.,) when I began asking others how long they were waiting, over 7 hrs and still counting. We left there but the next morning the ambulance was called to her home, she got a room but the staff nurses were extremely unfriendly and uncaring. I asked one nurse for help to turn my mother, she grumble grabbed the bed sheet and pulled my mother with such force it was hard to watch! Unfortunately my mother's disease pad was too far and she didn't have much time left. The nurses never visited her. Or showed any kindness to her or the family. Once when my mother's teeth slid the nurse told us to fix it instead of her trying to help. All I can say is there are Nurses and then there are "nurses ". My mom did say some of them were nice but it's the ugly ones that shouldn't be working in this field. How would they feel if it was their mother laying there ?

People rarely leave good reviews for hospitals, but I wanted to take a moment to say my husband and I had a wonderful experience here. We are from out of town and had an emergency while passing through; a quick google search led us to the nearest ER at LVH in E. Stroudsburg and we were treated with tremendous respect and kindness. From the front desk and security guard to the PA, doctor, and nurse, everyone was exceedingly warm and pleasant to deal with. We got in and out quickly and just wanted to say thank you to the care team that assisted us ππΌ

Worst hospital in the Poconos do not go!!!! My wife nearly lost her finger and left her there for over 3 Hours with no Dr. insight! She had to leave and go to another hospital with no medical advice to do so. This hospital is not capable of what they should be!

Worst hospital I have been to in a while. Have been sitting in the emergency room for 3hrs in a great deal of pain. Nobody is getting taken to rooms we have all been just sitting here because they are telling us there is nothing they can do. Avoid this place and go to st lukes!!!

I do not know the place, but i work in health care. There is no reason why someone with tonsils pain should go to ER. That is NOT a emergency. For this cases, there is a long wait and people than really need to be seen for live or death situations (real emergencies) have delay of care. A lot of people complains like you about ER's waiting times, but what do you do to improve it? Those issues can be addressed in the primary doctor office, urgent care, and now even with virtual doctor's visits.
By law All hospital must bill you if you don't have insurance or set you up with a social worker .They are not supposed to deny you β
Never had that problem. All my doctors call me back
Not sure , I would recommend you give them a call to further assist you.
The Lab at the Hospital at 206 E Brown St is open Monday-Friday 6AM-6PM, Saturday 6A-2:30PM.
Yes
I don't think so , but calling is your best bet .
They wont.there is a dentist dr Solomon (not sure of the spelling) on brown st across from the hospital. I called him on a Sunday and he was away but sent me to a dentist that pulled it the same sunday.yes both took ur insurance. Hope this helps, too bad I didn't save their numbers
In Stroudsburg on rt 611 lots of hotels
Sry. But I will never go to Pocono hospital/lehigh ever again. Lehigh just bought Pocono and most the locals think it got worse.. But to answer the question. The last 2 people I know had to go over to st lukes because Pocono Lehigh told them it was just in there head. And the dr told my 1 friend to grow up N stop waiting tax payers money... so I would say very poorly they treated them...
6:00 AM you'll wanna get there before 7 they get busy
What time is the lab open
You sure can. Just get the βMyLVHNβ app. It works great. You can even keep track of your childrenβs records.
