The biggest tragedy in Wilkes Barre a very dangerous place to go to they are rude they attack you when you are not happy with there quality of work and ignorant they I was just there and had the most horrid experience in my life now I'm going to go to Court.

Was on the 5th fIoor and everyone nice and kind the only name that I remember was nurse Jess, Kevin whose philippino and also Colin's also but the rest of the staff where excellent too.

This place has no Business calling itself an emergency room or anything similar. They love having u sign papers for insurance so they get paid, my girlfriend spent 5.5 hrs there WITHOUT being seen by a Dr. By time I made it there, for last 3.5 hrs, I didn't see 1 patient released due to care being completed. However I did see 5 patients, including us, that left in utter Frustration from waiting so long WITHOUT BEING TREATED !!! The staff of this facility should reevaluate their career if this is acceptable to them. Also, we asked twice for updates on getting to a room and medication care, to which was said, we're busier than normal. Although again, noone ever came out with completed care and noone ever went back for care in the 3.5hrs I was there. Just so I do end on a positive Note and not be so negative, I'm happy to say that I did see probably the entire staff , some more than once, get to go get their ice cream out at the truck outside and and take their numerous Breaks in front of waiting patients. Yes, they deserve their Breaks but many we're there more than once. This place does deserving hospitals a disservice by labeling itself an emergency room !!! Ps, I had to give 1 Star just to be able to post this, unfortunately, they don't even deserve that one.

You need to Call and find out, times change. I personally avoide this hospital. Bear creek is 100% better. There's also a geisinger doc office in nanticoke that does blood work. ☺

Yes. All kinds of physical therapy and aggressive treatment for stubborn or hard to treat diabetes and high blood pressure and a new addiction treatment center. Very polite people as long as ive been going there which is a few months. Not long, but a definite improvement ovet years ago when I went to the old Mercy Hospital it was before. The nurses are hot. And the therapists and especially the counselors I've been working with. Very nice polite understanding and one went out of her way to take me through the hospital to get blood work done all the way down floors, elevators across the street by way of the bridge and through the other building so I wouldn't get lost. Very nice helpful and great sense of humor and personality. I would have asked her on a date or at least for a coffee but she had a big square cut diamond ring with baguettes...and I can see why. "Must i always be aloooone."

If you ever have chest pains this is a place you don't want to go to because i had chest pains thinking they can do something but here they can't do anything because they don't have the equipment to do much of anything so they called for a medics and took me to geisinger north geisinger south I guess is a place for broken bones and other small things why they call it urgent care I don't know because chest pains is urgent care 😕😕
They do ultrasounds here, not sure it they do CT Scans, but GWV main does them
I would stay away they basically turned me away when a suture above my eye was coming out and i was bleeding down my face! I hade to walk to the other hospital across town to get it closed up again! The other hospital thought I was mugged because of all the blood on my face by the time i got there!!!
