My experiences have been good overall. I was disappointed that I was not seen by the provider I had seen before and with whom my appointment was scheduled. I was not informed in advance that this would be the case. To be clear, this post is not referencing Drew Cressman because I was seen by another PA. My experience with Drew on a previous visit was quite favorable and that is why I requested to see him.

The physical therapy side is good. I was seen Dr Downs for a hand/wrist injury at work and did physical therapy which didn't help though. After that I had to get an unrelated surgery and took a break in treatment. I told him and everyone at that building that I had surgery coming up. Several times. A few weeks after surgery, I took a partial function test on my wrist that proved my wrist/hand is still injured. I went for the follow up appointment and saw Dr Downs again. He didn't want to talk to me. He refused to answer any questions and rushed me out of the office. He said there is nothing he can do until the other doctor clears me for work from my surgery. He accused me of not telling him I was having the surgery in a rude way. I tried to tell him I think the injury is in my hand and tried to ask about future treatment once I come back. He wouldn't answer. This place is 45 mins from my house. Why couldn't I get a phone calling telling me not to come in? I also got the impression phys therapy was the only option he had for me.

I feel like this company has completely dropped the ball as far as communication ranging from scheduling the MRI, scheduling the surgery, updates during the surgery while the patients parent was in the lobby, full instructions after surgery regarding physical therapy(no suggestions on where to go until I initiated the call today). Last but not least, showing how to put the sling on with the spacer. Everything I described above would've been helpful to know. I'm trying to understand other than performing the procedure where the priority is on Customer Service? Quite frankly, it's not a positive experience. I hope this company does better in the future.
