Very charming and affordable. There were some notable issues with the shower in one room and another didn't have a microwave while the others did. I really enjoyed my stay.

I really great peaceful little roadside motel with a decent weekly rate and nice clean rooms and really friendly outgoing staff. Be sure to stop by and see Jane today for a great deal on weekly rate rooms right here just outside of Montgomery Indiana close to Dogwood Lake and Glendale wildlife area. Just three minutes from Washington Indiana 5 minutes to Loogootee Indiana and right in the heart of Amish Country.. I highly recommend a stay at the Black Oak Motel.

I stay on the road about 10-11 months of the year, and this is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. No, it's not fancy, doesn't offer breakfast, but it is quiet, VERY CLEAN, cozy, comfortable beds, very good price, and the owner is extremely nice and hospitable. The WiFi is great, doesn't have cable but now days who really watches TV? I will always be coming back to this place when I'm in the area working.

Been staying here for years to hunt at Glendale. Honestly, it's not the best hotel I've ever stayed at, but it's the closest to Glendale, super affordable, and everyone I've ever dealt with has been super friendly and helpful. Black Oak is an unqualified I will continue staying here for years to come.
