I have shared similar experiences to those expressed by a previous poster. Many of the employees are there for a paycheck and little else. My impression is that they view veterans as getting in the way of them doing their "work." They would not have a job if it were not for the veterans they are supposedly serving. Fire all of the administrative staff (too many employed there anyway), and replace with people who are more competent. Now, the medical professionals are a different story. In the 27 years I've been in the VA system, I have only had two negative encounters with incompetent doctors. All of the other care I've received from all of the medical professionals, from technicians, nurses, to doctors has been exceptional. I halfheartedly recommend this place. By the way, comments about parking are spot on - it is a mess.
