The Retreat at Conyers

My mom has been at the retreat for over 2 years. She is happy. She likes the food. They keep her place clean and they are flexible with her requests/needs after a couple of emails and calls for attention. Watchout: After 1 year, there was a 7% increase in the rate. This was most likely used to fund a new renovation of the main building. The people living in assisted living and memory care have minimal access to this renovation due to mobility and safety concerns. I would prefer that this be used to fund a renovation of the assisted and memory care main space, healthier meals, and focused brain health activities. The activities program has struggled for years. They do minimal to no external activities. The leadership has promised a turn around after the upcoming bus repair. I hope so…..

My mom and I have been at the Retreat at Conyers for almost 2 years now. The staff is warm, friendly and caring and has gone above and beyond to make us feel comfortable here and to ensure our safety and well-being. We have made lots of friends and are so pleased with the excellent decision we made to move here!

My mother was a resident At The Retreat at Conyers for about 6 yrs she fought Lewy Body Dementia she lost her battle on 2/25/20 She got very good care at first .2019 things changed i think because they were short staffed the quality of the food was not as good as before . some of my mothers jewelry went missing before she died she was bedridden could not walk or speak plainly Someone stole her ring right off her finger a helpless 85 yr old women i would think twice before i would use the retreat at conyers $4400.00 is alot of money per month for the little care they recieve
