Ticker tape police force using garbage equipment to harass citizens. I don’t live in your town, but I drove through it once in the last ten years. The officer had me sign a blackberry for speeding and then left without giving me a copy of my ticket. I didn’t know my court date, the fine, ANYTHING!!! I had to call them to find out when they would issue a bench warrant for not showing to court! They are also having court at 5 PM???? I live an hour away and you’re holding court at night??? No wonder everything is leaving that town in droves!

My car was broken into on a Friday night in a Jackson hotel parking lot, and some of the stolen items were discovered abandoned the following morning in Lexington. Deputy McAllister and the Sheriff's Department were highly efficient and courteous in securing my possessions, notifying me and getting them back to me in a timely manner. I was very impressed with, and appreciative of, their professionalism and service.
