Reflections memory care is a great place. The only thing consistently negative is how cold they keep the area. I visit or talk to my Mother nearly everyday and she is constantly complaining how cold it is. Please pay attention to the Residents comfort level & maintain a comfortable temperature for their quality of life.

They are keeping the temperature in Reflections Memory Care too cold for the Residents comfort. By law they can keep the temperature between 71-81 degrees (google it for yourself), yet they do not put the thermostat above 71/72. With the number of vents in the common areas it gets about 4 to 5 degrees colder than the thermostat setting making it a very uncomfortable temperature in the 60's in the dining & living room areas. The Residents are freezing. & constantly complaining about how cold it is. I get asked by the Residents everyday if I will turn up the a/c temp but they keep the controls pad locked. The employees that are controlling the temp need to consider the Residents comfort. Many of the workers feel it is too cold as well. This doesn’t help recovery when the Residents have been sick with pneumonia, bronchitis, etc... Pay attention when you visit Reflections Memory Care to how awfully cold it is for your loved ones well-being & comfort. You immediately notice it is too cold and uncomfortable. Safe temperatures levels are always necessary. Obviously in the spring/summer an indoor temp of 73-75 is ideal. This needs to be addressed & fixed. Generally, our bodies are most comfortable when the air inside of our home is within a degree or two of a steady 75 degrees during the hot, summer months. Not to mention we are talking about Seniors that tend to get cold easier.

i would rate 0 stars if i could. I worked here at this facility from jan 2021 until april 2021 where i was fired by a nurse for following the directions of Robin (administrator) and Brenda (reflections manager) who both told me not to take heavy work load or do anything i was uncomfortable with since i was pregnant. i had already been looking and applying for other jobs because i’m completely appalled by this place. i have been a cna for 7 years. never have i seen a place so highly praised but behind closed doors completely disgusting. they have cockroaches not only on the food carts they use to serve the residents in reflections but also in the patient rooms and in the main kitchen! i have pictures and videos of roaches crawling out of the food cart that they would send to us. feel free to message me to see them. the staff is severely undertrained. they are verbally abusive and manipulative to the patients ( more so in reflections) as they can’t advocate for themselves. i don’t have pictures of this or videos with actual people but i do have voice recording (for HIPAA) purposes of some verbal abuse. i wouldn’t even send my worst enemy here. they pay very little attention to memory care and they always get short end of the stick. they try to spruce things up for holidays and tours but behind closed doors do not think your family is getting the best treatment because they are not. they are ripping you off for all your money. they medicate patients to the max of doctors orders so that they will sleep and not be bothersome. incontinent patients do not properly get changed or toileted which is why they are constantly spraying air freshener and using chuck pads to stop overflow onto bed sheets and wheelchair/recliner cushions. they isolate patients who tend to have yelling/screaming habits. very heartbreaking.

Questions & Answers

Do you have one bedroom/kitchen? My 97 year old aunt is living in independent living at Sycamores Terrace. The owner sold and she has to move. She would be willing to take a 1 bedroom, 1 bath, living area and small kitchen in assisted living.

Yes, they have 1 bedrooms with a small kitchen. I'm moving my mom from there to Fieldstone Place in Clarksville - just as nice and less expensive. The Fountains is a great place, though many residents complain about the food, yet nothing changes.

It varies depending on unit size and added services. My folks have a 1 bedroom and pay around $6K a month.
