Blakeford communities are well staffed, friendly and feel like home. The life enrichment team ensures no one “falls through the cracks”. Everyone from the front desk to the kitchen is friendly and helpful. I believe this is a wonderful place for any loved one and anyone looking to join a upbeat, passionate place to work.

I should have known that after 5 minutes of applying to this place and having them call me back for an interview that it was a TRAP. I showed up for the interview and was immediately probed to the face for temperature reading. After the administrator - Lakeuisha Thomas greeted me with jeans and a hoodie for an interview with no smile or "How are you?" I was then finally told they have Covid in the building in the last 2 weeks. I was applying for a PRN position. When facilities take in Covid patients that they get extra pay and extra pay for each IV drug given. She tried to tell me that I have no choice if I have to work in COVID. Yet, no bonus or double in pay incentive was given out at all. They failed to tell me over the phone and when I entered the building that they do have active cases. Think twice before going here for work or to have your loved one stay here. . .

Beware as they are very understaffed in nursing. They have a few great nurses that do all the work and others just stand around. It is just a matter of time before the good nurses have had enough and leave. The food service is constantly changing and very undependable. Again the lack of team work from the food service puts added pressure on the nursing to correct the orders. At nighttime if you need help and press the button you are lucky if anyone comes to help and if they do it takes hours. If you tell a manager you get i am sorry we are understaffed and i will look into it. Also there was an increase in the room rates that no one notified our family about until we received the bill. When you pay over 11000 dollars a month for a premium nursing service for your love one you should get what you pay for.

Blakeford at Green Hills has two salons on our campus which provide hair care for both men and women along with manicures and pedicures.
We have an incredible therapy team on-site that provides physical, occupational, and speech therapy for residents and short-term guests. Our Rehab-to-Home Center is a beautifully appointed center offering private suites, concierge services, housekeeping, and customized, results-driven therapy. Residents also have access to out-patient therapy whenever needed.
We are a pet-friendly community. Several of our residents have brought along their cats and small dogs when they moved to Blakeford at Green Hills.
Yes, we do provide respite care for our residents.
