This is a well maintained campground with amiable staff! Unfortunately the weather was bad during our stay with rain and high winds. The only gripe I have would be the forced air hand dryers in the bathhouses didn't work properly and there wasn't any hot water at the sinks!

This a the perfect place for a quick weekend family getaway! Fish from the bank or boat and the campground is absolutely perfect! HUGE sites, very level, water, electric 30 & 50 amp, and several Full hookups. Each bathroom is private and is the cleanest bathhouse I've ever seen. The tent sites are closest to the water and are very private. They also have water and electric and are only $20 per night.

This gorgeous public fishing area has a public camp site, which makes it easier for people who live farther away to come and stay and get some fishing done. It has a nice little archery range, and the bathrooms are kept up. Great little spot for some kayak fishing as well.

Nice place to fish and hike. Beautiful scenery too, but it is too far from our home to visit often. Bring your camera and binoculars, lots of wildlife

Yes all boats with trolling motors only. You gas motor can be on the boat but not used in any of the lakes.

There is no longer a primitive camping area. In the future the old primitive area will reopen but with many improvements but will no longer free. No plans for opening it anytime soon. But it is in the future plans for reopening that area. There is no longer a land pass needed for the park. A fishing license is required to fish. There is no charge for fishing.
Sands ponds are open from sunrise and close sunsets
They are doing construction. Putting in an RV park. There should be a detour to go around and get in from the backside. I went last week and just followed the detour signs to get in
