The first time I ate here it was fantastic. This is a very expensive restaurant - with meals over $100 per person generally. Ordered the Filet Mignon. Their style seems to be to make you wait 45 minutes or so and they have some deal with a whole cutting board of food. That's all well and good as long as the food is fantastic. Then I went back Had a steak that would be presented already sliced. I ordered it medium rare. It comes to the table deep red -almost blue. This is after a 45 minute wait. It is already sliced so the cook (I won't call them a chef) had to see it. You might be thinking that this may be a matter of opinion - but believe me, that steak was raw to rare. So I sent it back, of course. Luckily, it comes back acceptable. But there is no excuse for this. This is a steak house. A proper cook here should know instinctively how a steak is cooked without it being sliced. But sliced? Even the waitress should know by just looking at it. The resulting steak wasn't very tasty either- so I will not be going back. YMMV
