Food was excellent when it came. We waited over a hour after ordering till the food arrived. Our Server told us after we found her, the kitchen is backed up. Numerous tables around us sat with dirty dishes and not be cleaned. The portions were large and food well prepared. Update. Service still very slow and our requests cameout in pieces if at all. Very hard to get refills on drinks.

It depends on which Cracker Barrel you visit. Most serve beer and have mimosas for Sunday brunch. Since I do not indulge can only advise by observation and menu notation.
They specialize in southern comfort food. I wouldn't go to an Irish restaurant for grits or biscuits and gravy. That said, it can't hurt to suggest they add it.

That might have been overcooked. My experience has been good with the biscuits, they're warm enough to melt the butter that's cold. I guess it's a Cracker Barrel thing.
Yes! Cracker Barrel is open during regular business hours on Thanksgiving Day and serving a traditional Thanksgiving meal beginning at 11 am. Make sure to use the Online Wait List to lessen your wait time.
