How long does thick straight hair need to be to attach permanent loc extensions ?

@Shaggy thank you ! See you in a couple months . Will it be better to reattach my old dreads or just go with new extensions ? I had to cut my hair for a job and I just don't feel like me anymore .

I feel the pricing is reasonable, Shaggy does a great job.
