I am not even sure where to start when detailing my awful experience with The Sleep Number brand. I ordered a Queen Dual P5 360 Smart Bed with Queen Flexfit with attached remote on January 9, 2022 at the Buckhead/Lenox Road store in Atlanta. Total purchase was $3,885.84. Delivery was set for February 17, 2022. I was incredibly excited to experience the Sleep Number product - then my positive experience became one of incredible disappointment and frustration. The unprofessional, “could care less” delivery team arrived and asked to inspect the delivery area. I escorted them to the bedroom so he could inspect the existing bed frame. He then informed me the adjustable foundation base would not be usable with the installed slat system of my existing bed, even though the sales associate assured me that the slat system would NOT be an issue. The delivery rep said I could uninstall and remove the slats. I then asked him to measure the foundation to make sure it would even fit before I remove anything. Apparently the foundation would not even fit within the slat support of the bed frame. I refused the delivery then spoke with a Sleep Number delivery rep on the phone who said they would process my refund. I immediately attempted to reach the Buckhead sales associate and was told he was on vacation for the next 2 weeks. I then asked to speak to a manager, who was also unavailable. I then tried calling the customer service line, to which I was informed was a 1+ hour wait. It is unacceptable that a $4,000, luxury product purchase has such horrible customer service, and one of the most unprofessional delivery services I have ever experienced. UNACCEPTABLE and not one single Sleep Number representative gave a notion of care. Never again. UPDATED: June 12, 2022. Worked directly with the Lenox manager. I canceled the original order and placed a new order. LOVE the new bed. The product thus far has been exceptional, Sleep Number just needs to work on their customer service training with a better knowledge of how their product installs. I would definitely recommend their product.
