Trevor did such a good job inspecting our new construction house. He is very detail oriented and took his time to inspect everything. Did not cut coners. Provided detailes on every issue that was discovered and how it can be fixed. Best inspector I worked with. Highly reccomend!

Seacoast Inspections | Mar 11, 2022

All houses need some repair or improvement, but there are some major repairs that we recommend avoiding when looking to buy a property. You should walk away after an inspection if there are problems related to the infrastructure, roofing, or pests. These issues imply costly repairs. We recommend that you keep searching for a place that meets your expectations and it's in better condition.

A home inspector's job is not to pass or fail a house but describe its current condition and indicate what components and systems may need repair or replacement. Also, we will pinpoint the improvement points so that the potential buyer can make a conscious purchase.

Who should attend the home inspection?

Seacoast Inspections | Feb 9, 2022
Seacoast Inspections | Feb 9, 2022

There's no rule here. Of course, you and the home inspector must attend the day of the inspection to check that everything's fine. Some house sellers ask to be in the review, but as you hire the service, you can decide who attends and who doesn't. We don't recommend inviting friends and family to the inspection because they may subjectively influence the final decision.

Seacoast Inspections | Jan 10, 2022

A home inspection is intended to provide the client with a thorough evaluation regarding the overall condition of installed systems and components of the home. The inspection is based on observation of the visible and apparent condition of the structure and components at the time of the home inspection.
