Dr. Caudill Is a top tier physician, one of the best I have treating me. Very personable and knowledgeable, reminded me of the old time family doctor. Great bedside manner. All the medical staff that assisted in my surgery were wonderful. His front office staff, Teresa and McKenzie are professional, friendly and add to the perception of the overall experience.

Dr. Caudill is a very skilled, knowledgeable and compassionate doctor. I'm very grateful to him and his wonderful staff for their excellent care and kindness. It was the most positive surgical experience I have had, and also the warmest and most supportive medical group it has been my pleasure to meet. So very helpful for an anxious patient! I would highly recommend Dr. Caudill.

Yes. Both procedures are offered.

Will Medicare and Tri care for life cover this surgery? Can I get a garuntee of no infection to my mesh?

Kathleen, thank you for your question. There are many factors that determine if a surgery will be covered under insurance. If there is any preauthorization needed for a particular surgery, the surgeons office generally handles that process. I can’t imaging a circumstance that a surgery could be offered with a guarantee of no infection. Please see the information below. Colonization or adherence of bacteria on the surfaces of a mesh is a prerequisite for mesh-related infection [12]. Recent studies have shown infection rates ranging from 0.7 to 2 % in laparoscopic ventral hernia repair [13] and as high as 9–18 % in open inguinal and incisional hernia repair Thank you again for your time.
