I wanted to come here to do the walking trail. It’s it’s open It’s a great place for a good walk. But the park does not allow dogs. I am looking for a place to take them that safe and less likely to have snakes right now. Schools about to be back in session so we can’t walk there. So it’s a nice place unless you have pups.. Seems to be a lot of places like that around here

Very nice park. There is a nice pond to fish in, a playground, pavilion and a walking path.

Dinner in the park and a trip back to sit and watch the sunset

I stumbled upon this gem by accident about a year ago. This park is surprisingly very peaceful and quiet despite being in the middle of Hinesville. It has a big pond with a walking/running path surrounding it and plenty of benches to sit on while gazing at the pond and habitants. The playground is a decent size and keeps the kids occupied for a while - yes, there are swings. They loved seeing the geese, ducks, and squirrels during our visit. This park offers access to a restrooms as well. Altogether, a great past time! 😊
