Debra is great! She’s incredibly helpful and well-informed about the products they carry. I go in a few times a year to check out heritage boots. She has great knowledge pertaining to in-stock styles and sizes. I’ve been sold incorrect sizes of heritage boots before at other locations in the past (which isn’t great because of the extremely limited heritage return policy), but her sizing recommendations always seem to be spot on. Most red wing locations I’ve been to recommend going the same size as your brannock, but red wings run quite large. If it’s your first pair of boots or you don’t know your foot size and width, it’s easy to make a misinformed purchase. Most of the boots, whether they’re too small or large, will always feel good walking a few steps around the store when trying them on. It’s great to find someone who knows their stuff for a second opinion. If you’re in the Jacksonville area, I highly recommend going to this location for accurate sizing info.

My boots were giving me a hot spot. I called up and was told to bring them in. Debra worked on the boots until the hot spot was gone and the boots felt so much better. Thanks Debra for going over and above to make my feet happy!

Great experience! They were very busy when we went in, but Debra was terrific at multitasking. I explained what we were looking for and she picked a boot for my husband. After measuring his feet on their machine Debra brought them out and helped him put them on. She explained exactly how it is supposed to fit, including where the steel toe lines up, the widest part of the foot/shoe, and explaining how much the heel should move before changing sizes. When walking around she noticed the leather was a little tight without him even saying anything about it she brought out a spray to loosen up the leather and he says they already feel broken in. My husband mentioned during the experience being retired military when talking about this particular boot and Debra remembered during the check out process and offered him the military discount. This was the best shoe buying experience I have ever had.
