Attentive consultant. Adequate selection of off the rack dresses. The bride said “yes” to one! She will be a BRILLIANT BRIDE! The setting was clean yet basic. Despite the Az summer heat, not even water was offered for the bride or her guests during the 90 minute appt. Beware of tall tales: After the bride narrowed her search to to one dress and wanted to think about the decision over lunch, suddenly the eavesdropping front desk staff announced another bride requested to try on that dress and they had only one in stock. Having full view of the bridal salon it didn’t appear another size 2 bride was present. Not even close. We returned after lunch and our “risk” paid off: the bride received the dress of her choice! Five stars for the consultant (tipped her well) but three for the experience. In the future, maybe the staff can be trained to respect the significance of the bride’s experience while trusting brides to buy the right dress based on instincts not pressure.

I went to Brilliant Bridal for my initial round of trying on wedding dresses, just to get an idea of what types of designs I would like. I had appointments at other locations and ended up cancelling them because I found my dress that day! It was even the first dress I tried on! Kalie was our consultant and she was beyond amazing. She listened to what I was looking for within my budget and guided me through the whole process. She even encouraged me to try on some extravagant ball gowns, just for fun! At the end of my visit, Kalie gave us a list of local seamstresses to call for alterations, which was so helpful (I went with Gemma's Fashion & Sewing in Chandler, AZ). I got married in June and I am still so obsessed with my dress. It fit my style perfectly. So many guests and vendors commented on how they haven't seen another like it. If you are looking for your dream dress on a budget (mine was under $800), off-the-rack is a great way to go! So glad we went to Brilliant Bridal!

I could not have been paired with a better stylist than Sheala. She was EXACTLY who I needed. She understood my body concerns, knew my “vibe”, understood exactly what to say when dealing with family opinions on dresses. Turns out, the FIRST dress I tried on ended up being THE dress. I tried on about 7 more, but the first pick was it. I was crossing my fingers I would find my dress here as my wedding is in December (just 3 months away) and this was the BEST store for ”off the rack” shopping. But hands down,SHEALA, was the one who made such a big difference for this experience. Pro tip for brides, I had an hour and a half appointment and I feel like I would have wanted more time. If it’s possible try to book 2 or 2.5 hours, you don’t realize how fast it all goes.
