Gave a 1 star because I could not do less. They are unprofessional, disorganized, dirty, and the staff go in power trips and take advantage of the situations of these women that need the help to kick them out at night in the rain. Research other places but Safe Berks is a joke that don’t care about anyones situations. I have seen shelters treat dogs better than this place. I’m so sorry for the women here having to deal with this mess of a place!

I love this place. It not only provides shelter to victims of domestic violence, but it also offers support groups, legal support, resource coordination, counseling and much more. They empower all those struggling and guide them to find a way out of pain to independence. I so grateful to Maria and to all the team who go the extra mile to assist the served population. Many blessings to all.

That shelter is for victims of domestic violence/sexual assault. If you are a victim of this violence, then I definitely suggest going there. The place is a safe house, so it's literally like a fortress. You would feel safe there and they have a lot of resources for families with children.
