They are a horrible agency! If you need help go elsewhere. They do not work with their "customers". My situation is personal but needless to say I experienced nothing but indifference and apathy while dealing with them. It's just a paycheck for them. They only help if they feel you deserve it!

They don't provide housing services, but if you get services through SAM they can help you find resources that do help.

Did you try to call them? They may be able to help you. I'm a client there and I have a awesome caseworker. He helps me out so much with just about everything. I don't know what I would do without him. I don't think I would be where I'm at physically, mentally, and emotionally. If I could help you somehow to get you in there I would. I've been going there ever since I've been in Reading and that's over ten years now.

Unless they are hurting themselves or others, or disturbing the peace, there is nothing that can really be done. SAM helps if someone is in "Crisis", and really they only help atbthatbpoint, to keep people safe and help them avoid being arrested and sent to prison....
